Tony hates sumo wrestling

Last night’s episode of The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever touched on the sumo wrestling group date briefly, showing the lighter side of the activity. However, there was one person on whom the charms of sumo wrestlers Byama and Yama seemed entirely lost: Tony. Tony started off the season well, sporting a peaceful personality and walking around the house in a lovely poncho.

On the day of the sumo wrestling date, however, Tony had his time in the circle but didn’t do so well, despite his background in wrestling. He then proceeded to throw a bit of a tantrum. To his credit, he had a point when he said he was sick of the men on The Bachelorette always having to do ultra-physical competitive group dates (though to be fair, the women of The Bachelor are often put in these situations as well!)

Tony explained to Katilyn, “I view the world through the eyes of a child. I have the heart of a warrior and the spirit of a gypsy.” He then retired to the roof where he waxed on about how he just wanted to go hang out with animals at the zoo, instead of “reverting back to [his] primal instincts.” I’m sorry to say, if you’ve come to The Bachelorette hoping for nice, peaceful days at the zoo, you’ve come to the wrong place.
