The Bachelor Season 21, Episode 6: New Orleans

Nick and the ladies took off to New Orleans this episode of The Bachelor Season 21, and the ‘Big Easy’ proved to be not so easy for Nick. The episode jumped right into the fray, picking up in the middle of an argument between Corinne Olympios and Taylor Nolan concerning the use of the phrase “emotional intelligence.” I never knew two words could cause so much drama!

Because no good fight can be wasted in the world of The Bachelor, Corinne and Taylor were chosen for the first two-on-one date of the season. And what better place to have a date than the swamp? Surprisingly the most terrifying aspect of the date wasn’t the alligators lurking around every corner or the voodoo priestess they happened upon; it was the extreme tension as Nick sat between the two women as they floated down the bayou. Corinne topped things off by referring to Taylor as a “big, mean swamp monster.” Ouch.

This episode also featured a haunted house ghost tour, complete with a seance, which was super eerie and definitely out of the norm for a Bachelor date. Nick and Rachel also got their first one-on-one and ate some delicious local cuisine! All in all, this was definitely an episode to remember.
