The Bachelor Season 21 is now streaming on HBO Max!

HBO Max, the new streaming service combining all the fun of HBO with new additions as well, is offering up three seasons of The Bachelor. One of the seasons available is The Bachelor Season 21 starring none other than Nick Viall! Nick’s turn in the driver’s seat was, in my humble opinion, one of the best seasons in recent memory.

As a three-time contestant and two-time runner up, his long and storied history with the franchise provided endless fodder for jokes, and also made him someone fans truly knew and were rooting for. Also, as a former “villain,” Nick’s turn as the lead proved that no Bachelor reputation is too bad to overcome!

The Bachelor Season 21: Nick’s season really did have it all!

There was dry humor, a wintry Narnia-esque background, a healthy serving of in house drama, and of course, the irreplaceable Corinne Olympios. Having Nick in the driver’s seat also allowed fans to view the season through a somewhat skeptical lens.

Because Nick was a veteran on the force, he often pulled back the curtain and refused to be actor-y. Instead of overly-selling lines that were obviously producer prompted, he repeated them in a monotone manner while giving the camera a dry stare. He encouraged the women to be themselves and often referenced how hard it was to be on the show, which was refreshing.

Though every episode from Season 21 had its magic moments, these three episodes stand out as the ones that really demand a rewatch on HBO Max.
