Arie Luyendyk Jr. just dyed his hair platinum blonde–and Bachelor Nation is freaking out

Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s new hairdo has Bachelor Nation freaking out–understandably.

Arie Luyendyk Jr. has been keeping himself quite busy during these times of quarantine and lockdown. And while some of us are using this time to do all sorts of things, he decided to go as bold as one can–dying his hair platinum blonde.

The Bachelor alum posted a picture of his new hairdo captioning it, “It’s a vibe.” Uh, yeah, it sure is. #BiggestUnderstamentOfTheYear

Naturally, Bachelor Nation has been freaking out about the new look, and as much as it pains me to say this, I’m actually digging it. To be honest, I didn’t even realize it was him at first glance. It’s hard to forget Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s face, but I can promise you, his new hair will have you doing double, if not triple takes.

I know this may seem like a silly thing to report, but I’m sure you can agree that this move by Luyendyk elicits some sort of discussion. Like, how did he know that it might actually look good and he could pull it off?

Scouring social media, I’ve seen all sorts of hilarious tweets pop up. But what I find more hilarious, if not impressive, is that Bachelor Nation is very much divided on their feelings over Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s hair. Some are so here for it, others not so much.

Like I’ve already said, I’m actually impressed with how it looks. Platinum blonde isn’t an easy color to pull off but somehow it’s managed to make him better looking and unrecognizable. Maybe we should be seeking his opinion on any and all future hairstyle choices we make–he may be onto something. Or it’s Lauren, but either way, I think they could help a lot of us. Especially with so many of us dealing with unruly, unkempt hair from the lack of care over the last 2-3 months.

Arie is doing something right (well, not all of you will agree), and I want in on it.
