The Bachelorette season 10: Nick Viall and Andi Dorfman–The Fantasy Suite Reveal

Ah, the Fantasy Suite. A long-lived trove of off-camera time. Up until season 10 of The Bachelorette, what happened in the Fantasy Suite stayed in the Fantasy Suite, only to be un-subtly hinted at. However, in one of the most intense “After the Final Rose” showings of all time, Nick Viall asked Andi Dorfman why she had sex with him if she knew she didn’t love him.

Things were immediately tense when Andi came out to sit with Nick on “After the Final Rose”. It was revealed that Nick had sent her a letter (a version of which later surfaced online) and she did not look thrilled about it. Nick stumbled around his words for a while as Andi stared at him, and then, after a long pause, he asked the question.

"If you weren’t in love with me, I’m just not sure, like, why you made love with me."

Not only did Nick’s question provide for one of those “real” reality tv moments where the lead is caught completely off guard, but this moment would also follow Nick Viall for years to come. It was also the first time a contestant outwardly stated that sex sometimes goes on in the Fantasy Suites, even though we all pretty much knew it. Andi went on to state in her book, It’s Not Okay, that Nick’s reveal (among many other things) haunted her relationship with Josh Murray for some time to come.

Though Andi and Nick seem to be on okay terms now, nobody will ever forget this moment!
