The Bachelor: Chris Harrison shares his picks for retrospective series

The Bachelor: The Most Unforgettable — Ever! is just a month away–and Chris Harrison is sharing which seasons he wants to see as a part of it.

The Bachelor franchise is on hold at the moment, but we have absolutely nothing to worry about, folks! Why is that, you ask? Well, given that nothing can be filmed, for the time being, the Bachelor Nation franchise has decided to give us the next best thing–a retrospective series.

As we’ve already reported, the 10-episode series will cover one season per episode, and dive back into the franchise’s most beloved seasons. It’s actually quite a genius idea because many fans are of the recent variety, and don’t know much about the alums that were around before Colton Underwood.

But trust me when I say, there are plenty more dramatic seasons to enjoy from Bachelor Nation. I mean, they have to give us Juan Pablo, right? It’s not just the dramatic seasons we’ll be getting, though. In fact, it’s likely they’ll throwback all the way to the beginning with the likes of Trista Sutter. I mean, she and Ryan are still together 17 years later.

While we love this franchise more than anything, there aren’t always success stories coming out of it so I think many of us would love to see the ones that ended up happy and together, and still remain together to this day.

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, host Chris Harrison shared the seasons he would like to see. He’s been there from day one, so he knows every season inside and out, and will remember ones even the most hardcore fans have likely forgotten about.

It turns out he is in agreement with me over Trista Sutter’s season of The Bachelorette. She was the first one, after all!

"There are a couple of seasons that you have to show. Trista, you’ve got to show the first Bachelorette. […]"

Of course, there’s plenty more where that comes from.

"[…] Sean Lowe’s season I think is unanimously a classic that everybody loves. Kaitlyn Bristowe was a great Bachelorette, and a lot of people came out of that show. There were some seasons that were pivotal for a lot of reasons. […]"

But I think the one season a lot of people are curious to rehash is that of Juan Pablo’s. It will go down as literally one of the most dramatic ever, and it gave us our next Bachelorette–Clare Crawley! What better way to intro her to the newbies then by showing one of the most bada** moments we’ve seen on the shows. If you aren’t excited about Crawley already, then you need to go back and check out that scene.

"[…] Out of Juan Pablo’s season, you had [season 10 Bachelorette] Andi Dorfman, and you had Clare. Those are the seasons that will definitely stand out. But we’re going to get a lot of them — we’re going to do 10 of these [episodes], if not more, so that’s a lot of seasons that we’ll be able to revisit."
