Nick Viall is in his feelings over Madison Prewett–and they’re not the positive kind.

Nick Viall is not the biggest fan of Madison Prewett, as we are all very aware of after his latest comments on his podcast, The Viall Files. What started out as a conversation with ET’s Lauren Zima about this week’s episode of The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart turned into a full-blown Madison Prewett bashing session.

Listen, I’ll be the first to admit that I am so over Peter Weber, Madison Prewett, Kelley Flanagan, and basically anything involved that wretched season of The Bachelor. I don’t think I care anymore about who is dating who, and what is going on behind-the-scenes. The only person I am here to genuinely get the scoop on is Hannah Ann Sluss. Everyone else–thank you, next.

But Nick Viall just added fuel to the fire when he began talking about Madison Prewett’s interview on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s podcast, Off The Vine. Viall came to the defense of Weber by slamming Madison for her comments about Peter.

Was it justified? I didn’t think so. I mean, why are we even still talking about this?!

"Here’s what we know: Peter might be a lot of things. He might have been sloppy, you could have argued that maybe he’s got some maturing to do, he’s certainly indecisive, but what Peter has also been is honest, even to a fault, almost. He’s been so honest that he’s probably gotten himself into more trouble than he needed to, where other leads have been a little bit more measured and made decisions a little bit more based off of what the audience might think, and Peter truly hasn’t done that. We also know Madison to be a little bit of a liar."

Hmm, liar? I think that might be taking it a bit too far. I think this situation has been blown up given the circumstances under which it took place. The average person doesn’t have the entire world holding a magnifying glass to their every move. Granted, these guys signed up for it, but I think what’s happened here isn’t a case of lying or telling the truth. Things have just been dissected and manipulated and discussed to the point of no return.

Everyone has something to say about it, and along the way, Peter and his exes have all been dragged along with it. I’m not a big Peter Weber fan, and I’ve grown so tired of his season. But I think calling people names is uncalled for. I’m not sure what the point of Nick Viall’s words were, but it seems like they were unnecessary, regardless of how we feel about it.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I can see where Viall is coming from but he’s making a lot of commentary about things he may or may not know about. He’s Team Peter, but Peter has done his fair share of stupid, dumb, and unreasonable things. I’m not saying that there is a right or wrong here, because the situation is far more complicated than that, but there’s fault with all parties involved.

Unfortunately, as I’ve already said, when the whole world is involved in your love life, these things are bound to happen. Petty behavior, nasty remarks, the works. Whether or not we like Peter Weber, his exes, or don’t give a crap anymore, I think it’s high time this all comes to an end.

Can we just move on and focus on something else? Hey, look, guys, there’s a new retrospective series over there. Let’s talk about that! Isn’t it so pretty?

Next. Hannah Ann Sluss: Her ‘quarantine fling’ might be NFL’s Mason Rudolph. dark
