The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart season 1, episode 3 power rankings
Our crew of couples hit the stage on Monday night’s episode of The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart to sing for their lives in the first elimination performance of the season. With guest judges and lots of behind the scenes drama, tensions were high, but who came out on top?
Listen to Your Heart had a rather interesting episode this week, didn’t it? But with love, comes confusion. Unfortunately, the lady who is more confused than anyone and loves to stir the pot, “I’m Really in Love with Brandon Even Though I Won’t Admit It” Julia, takes first place in our power rankings this week. Julia is trying VERY hard to be the villain this season while simultaneously playing nice with everyone who isn’t into her man. Ya know, everyone but Savannah.
Julia is full of manipulation and continues to lead on poor Sheridan as she tries to convince Savannah that both she and her relationship with Brandon are fake. Oh, and that she has zero interest in Brandon anymore even though she keeps crying about it. SURE.
At this point, Julia has so much real estate in multiple people’s heads and she definitely does not deserve it. But we needed someone to hate, right? Julia, I’m begging you to let sweet, innocent Sheridan go home before he can’t escape totally unscathed from your web of deceit!
Taking the second spot this week only because of her dramatics aka screen time is our ingenue Jamie who pretty much had a panic attack leading up to her performance. Girl, don’t you do this for a living? What’s going to happen when you get to the bigger venues? I have concerns.
There is still no doubt that Jamie is the star of the show and I think we will follow her almost to the Listen to Your Heart finale. (I can’t deal with a Trevor/Jamie victory, ABC. Please don’t do this to me.) So Jamie is here to stay and will continue to have her eyes opened up by this whole new world of experiences! After she’s done telling us how hard her life has been. All 21 years of it.
And finally rounding out our top three is “Jason Mraz Thinks I’m Amazing” Natascha who outsung her partner, Ryan, during their performance and is well on her way to a recording contract that will have her forgetting who Ryan is in no time. She may be into nerdy guys, but I’m not sure Ryan’s ego can recover from being slammed on national television by a Grammy award-winning artist.
Natascha clearly has that star quality that will take her beyond Listen to Your Heart and I for one am here for it! Keep crushing it, girl! You don’t need Ryan anyway.
And so with friend-zone buddies Danny and Bekah headed home after the rose ceremony, we are through the first elimination and the Brandon-Julia-Savannah-Sheridan love square continues for another week.
Justice for Sheridan is all I’m saying.
Will Julia finally pick a guy? Will Matt and Rudi survive all of this to keep making beautiful music together? And will the musical guest hosts continue to be way better and more recognizable than who we see during a normal Bachelor season? Tune in next week to find out!
