The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart season 1, episode 3: The live performances have started!

It’s the third week of Listen to your Heart season 1, and the live performances have started!

Listen to Your Heart season 1 is chugging along as we come to the midway point of the season. This week’s episode of Listen to your Heart started with Savannah being heartbroken when she heard that Brandon had an interest in Julia. Shortly after hearing this news, Gabe approached Julia and shared that he had feelings for her, not Ruby. But since Savannah didn’t reciprocate his feelings, Gabe decided to leave the mansion. Shortly after his departure, Chris Harrison arrived to share how the rest of their time on the show would go.

Harrison said each couple would perform a song together in front of a live audience and a panel of guest judges, who will be making the final call on eliminations from here on out. Then based on their performances, couples would be voted out until there was one remaining pair. The final couple would then have the opportunity of producing music and touring together. Everyone felt an immense amount of excitement and stress after hearing these details.

After a long day of practicing their songs, the first couple’s date card arrived for Bekah and Danny. They had a luxurious and romantic getaway planned for them–picking out clothes and spending time in a pool. The other date this week was with Ryan and Natascha. They went to House of Blues and watched Chris Lane perform. They also met Lane and his wife, The Bachelor alum,  Lauren Bushnell.

Back at the house, the drama between Julia and Savannah continued. Julia was jealous of Savannah and thought she was fake with her feelings toward Brandon.

The first live performances kicked off on Listen to Your Heart season 1 this week, and the guest judges included The Bachelorette royalty JoJo Fletcher and her husband Jordan Rodgers, Kesha, and Jason Mraz. The judges had an abundance of positive and negative feedback for each couple. They seemed to pick up on which couples had real feelings and which had more of a friend-vibe.

Most of the couples had clarification about their feelings toward their partner after their performance. Everyone went back to the house for the rose ceremony.

Many viewers were convinced Chris Harrison would hand out the roses! But sadly, Chris did not give anyone a rose. Instead, he announces which couples the judges wanted to keep, and the couples gave each other the roses.

It was a bit of a surprise to see Danny and Bekah eliminated first. But the judges didn’t think they had relationship chemistry.
