The Bachelor fandom, there’s a new BFF alert to watch out for–and we’re so here for it.

The Bachelor fandom–I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am loving what just went down earlier this week. There I was, just minding my own business, catching up on my Bachelor Nation gossip, when I got an alert from Instagram. Given that everyone is home nowadays, I get these alerts often since everyone is using the IG Live feature.

But this alert had me in my feelings the moment it popped up and I saw what it said: “@madiprew and @hannahann started a live video”, or something to that effect. I dropped everything I was doing (as I’m sure many of you did) to find out what the heck was going on.

As soon as I clicked into it, I found myself with a huge smile on my face watching these two chit-chat about their lives. It wasn’t a live session designed to bash on their ex Peter Weber, his indecisiveness, or his new rumored relationship with fellow alum, Kelley Flanagan.

Instead, these two were genuinely just talking about what they’ve been up to during this time of social distancing. It was so beautiful, heartwarming, and inspiring to watch these two gals just talk as friends with no ulterior motives.

Often, Bachelor Nation shows lead us to believe one thing about contestants due to their producer meddling and editing. It’s rare that we get to see the real side of contestants and leads until after the show has ended, and contracts have ended.

I was so here for the adorable friendship that Hannah Ann and Madi seem to have developed in recent days. It’s something that should happen following Bachelor Nation shows because that environment can often be so toxic, humiliating, and present a side of yourself that doesn’t actually exist. It can also pit contestants against one another or at least be made to seem like they hate each other. But in reality, more often than not, contestants become friends in the days after.

In Madi and Hannah Ann’s case, their season on The Bachelor was awkward and rough and ended in a hot, hot mess. But in any case, they didn’t spend their time together on IG Live talking about any of that.

For example, they talked about chili. Yes, chili. You can check that part of the convo out on this fan account on IG, Bachelor.Tea. The two new BFFs (hopefully!) also talked about their faith and how they’re using it during these uncertain times. Peep that part of the conversation on fan account, spilltheroses. Seriously, these gals were so adorable talking about everything but Weber.

The Bachelor: Dustin Kendrick spills the tea on Kelley and Peter. dark. Next

As far as they’re concerned–Peter Weber, who?Â
