The Bachelor: Ben Higgins and Jessica Clarke are engaged!

Another Bachelor wedding is around the corner. And this time, it is going to be between the sweetest couple–Ben Higgins and Jessica Clarke!

Ben Higgins and Jessica Clarke are engaged! There you have it, folks. This is something that many of us crazy Bachelor fans have been waiting for! Ben Higgins finally gets his happy ending. Jessica Clarke posted to Instagram with the proposal pictures, and they are adorable AF!

The proposal seemed like the most perfect and classic setup as expected from the sweet former Bachelor lead. As many of us would agree, Ben Higgins is deemed as one of the most genuine leads in Bachelor Nation.

According to the location posted on Clarke’s Instagram, it seems like they are in some beautiful park at Franklin, Tennessee. Ben was originally planning on proposing to Jess in New York City, during one of his The Bachelor: Live on Stage tours, but plans had changed. He had recently told ET’s Lauren Zima that he had been planning this proposal for months, but “everything changed” during the coronavirus pandemic.

According to many different Instagram Live videos, the cute couple was seen quarantining together with his parents. Just in case you were wondering, they too were completely aware of the proposal plans. Ben knew how important it would have been for the special moment to be around family as the two of them have very similar values when it comes to family.

"I went back to a pond behind her house, and we had a set it up with sunflowers near a bench. It’s right in their backyard, but a little hidden. I proposed and her family and mine were watching from a  distance, and then we all celebrated together. I was super nervous. She’s my best friend, my partner and I love her. I was nervous to kind of do this whole thing in front of her. I wasn’t anxious, it’s just a big moment."

Ben also went on to reveal that he started tearing up before even getting to the final proposal area and could spot Jess tearing as well. HOW CUTE! According to Jess, she almost messed up Ben’s proposal after telling him that she “didn’t want to go for a walk and get sweaty before dinner.” Well, thank goodness he was able to convince her!

The two of them truly do make a beautiful couple and have been public with their relationship since February of 2019. Many fans of Ben Higgins have been following his journey for a long time. Ever since he was a contestant on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season–doesn’t that feel like so long ago?! This is an exciting time and definitely brings some light into our lives during a difficult and dark time.
