Bachelor producer Julie LaPlaca finally addresses those Peter Weber rumors!

The Bachelor season 24 is finally over, but the hype of it has certainly not died down. The entire season the rumor mill was churning and churning with the most outrageous theories. Unfortunately, they all ended up not being true, and most of us could have seen that ending coming from a mile (minus the whole Barbara Weber tangent).

Amongst those theories and speculations were that Peter Weber ends up with Bachelor producer Julie LaPlaca. Some time back, Bachelor Nation fans were up to their usual sleuthing when they noticed Weber’s father posted a picture of LaPlaca with the Weber family on Instagram. LaPlaca herself posted a picture in which fans noticed the back of Weber’s head in the middle of Times Square.

Now that the finale is behind us, the dear ‘ol producer posted an actual picture of Weber and herself admitting that yes it was him in the picture, and no, they are not together.

Of course, ABC’s senior vice president of alternative series, specials & late-night programming, Robert Mills, didn’t exactly help fan the flames that were igniting around this theory. He basically left us hanging with just a glimmer of hope that it could be true.

"Well, I hate to get in the way of a good rumor, so I’m not going to confirm or deny about whether he ends up with a producer! I don’t know how we’d ever top that though! But, it is crazy."

Not cool, Mills, not cool!

Alas, these rumors did not end up being true, and it turns out LaPlaca is just a good friend of the Weber family. But hey, Weber is single now, so there is always a chance for this to come true, right?
