The Bachelor has had some pretty shocking and unexpected endings that we didn’t see coming. With tonight’s season 24 finale, let’s look back on some of them, shall we?

The Bachelor hasn’t always ended with an engaged couple, a happy couple, or a couple at all. There have been quite a few endings in its history in which things didn’t go as planned. Some have been as recent as last year’s Bachelor couple (still dating) Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph, and then there’s of course, the Juan Pablo Galavis season (awkward!).

Suffice to say, we’ve had to see many relationships crash and burn, while some couples have made it through (but they seem to be far and few in between). Unfortunately, what makes for a sad ending makes for great reality television. And it’s those awkward, unexpected moments that Bachelor Nation is left talking about for years to come.

With Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor ending this week (finally), we thought it’d be fitting to look back on some of the most shocking/unexpected/awkward endings. For all we know, Pilot Pete’s finale may soon be joining this list. Given all the theories we’ve already gone through, I would say its very, very possible for this to be the case.

But while we wait to see how Weber’s season will end, let’s look back to some of the past seasons, shall we?
