Are you ready for yet another The Bachelor spin-off? How about…The Summer Games?!

The Bachelor franchise is expanding and it’s expanding quickly. Just within the last few months, we’ve got the news that not just one, but two spin-offs are coming with the latest being The Bachelor Summer Games.

Back in 2018, we had the Winter Games to go along with the Olympic Winter Games, and now, it’s time to pay homage to the Summer Games. If you watched the winter version of the spin-off, then you sort of know what’s coming, assuming they haven’t changed the format much.

But just in case you have not heard of them, the premise is more or less contestants taking part in Olympic-style Summer games. I’m assuming hooking up, drama, and tears are a part of the deal, but come on, we expect that at this point, don’t we?

So, wait, does this mean we will have a show pertaining to Bachelor Nation year-round? Um, yes basically. The Bachelor Summer Games is going to air right after The Bachelorette but before Bachelor in Paradise. And let’s not forget we also have the other spin-off, Listen To Your Heart, that will air after Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor.

ABC executive Rob Mills shared this line-up just this week, and naturally, we’re all celebrating with the utmost joy.

"It’ll be Bachelorette, Summer Games—what’s nice about Summer Games is when we did Winter Games, Bachelor was still airing, so it was a lot….This is just Summer Games, and then Paradise will start."

We appreciate the spacing of the shows so we can enjoy one after another rather than multiple at the same time. Bachelor Nation can only handle so much drama at once. Er, well, maybe that’s not entirely true, but you know what I mean.

There is no premiere date as of yet, but The Bachelorette usually ends mid-summer (circa July), so I’m assuming ABC plans to air its Summer Games version around the time of the actual Summer Olympic Games.

Assuming it’s similar to the Winter Games version, there should be around four or so episodes over the course of two weeks. And it’s going to be intense, folks.

"It’s going to be so fun seeing these people in these great, you know, track and field, swimming…this is a real Olympics."

Are they getting medals at the end of this? Because, well, they should.

Who will be in this spin-off? Well, we have no idea just yet. Will it be fresh faces? Or will it be Bachelor Nation alums? And if it’s alums, are we talking the single ones or the ones in relationships or what?

We don’t know much of anything yet but worry not when we know, you’ll know. So until then, sit back, relax, and watch the line-up of all the upcoming Bachelor Nation shows. We’ll be at Summer Games soon enough.

Next. The Bachelor: Madison is not Luke P.–and here’s why. dark
