The Bachelor season 24 episode 8: “Hometowns, baby! Let’s go!”

Tonight’s episode of The Bachelor was Peter’s hometown week with the four remaining ladies. Most of the dates went smoothly, but it was a rocky road with Victoria F.

The Bachelor kicked off hometown week with Hannah Ann in Knoxville, Tennessee. The couple had a blast ax-throwing together. Peter shared a letter he wrote for Hannah Ann, which was similar to the letter she wrote him previously. After their date, Peter met Hannah Ann’s family. Her mom and sister seemed thrilled for the pair, but her dad didn’t seem impressed with Peter.

The guys had a chat, and Peter mentioned wanting to tell Hannah Ann that he was falling in love with his daughter. Hannah Ann’s dad didn’t think this was a good idea, though unless Peter was fully committed to his daughter. But Peter decided to tell her anyway. They even said they loved each other before Peter left.

Next up was Kelsey’s hometown. She and Peter went to a wine vineyard and squashed grapes with their bare feet and mixed their very own wine blend. Kelsey told Peter she was in love with him, but unlike his time with Hannah Ann, Peter didn’t say it back to Kelsey. The family time went well, and Peter told her that his heart had fallen.

Then Peter left to meet Madison in Alabama. They played basketball before meeting her family. The topic of Madison’s virginity came up. She hadn’t told Peter she was a virgin still and saving herself for marriage. Madison didn’t feel ready to tell Peter if she was in love with him or not.

Victoria F. had the last hometown date. The couple met on the beach with Victoria’s dog, who excitedly swam in the ocean. They dressed in Victorian garb and took black and white photographs. Then they went to a restaurant where Hunter Hayes was playing. Before the couple left, Peter ran into a lady named Marissa, who warned Peter to be careful with Victoria F.

Peter confronted Victoria F. before they went inside to meet her family. She was agitated, and they argued for a while. Victoria F. was upset and didn’t know how to recover from what Peter told her. Peter left without meeting her family. The next day Victoria F. met Peter in his hotel. She said she was falling in with him, but Peter was still upset by her actions.

The rose ceremony arrived, and Peter decided to part ways with Kelsey. Hannah Ann, Victoria F., and Madison are headed to the fantasy suites next week.
