Uh, you can’t do what as a Bachelor Nation participant?

What ABC says, you must do
Did you know that after any Bachelor Nation show comes to an end that your contract goes out another 12 months? Basically, for a year after all is said and done, ABC has a say in what happens in your life. That does not sound like a good deal to me–at all.
Back in 2017, Kaitlyn Bristowe had a little something to say about the fact that Nick Viall was given permission to be on Dancing with the Stars, and she wasn’t.
That’s not cool, ABC. Not cool at all.
You can’t eat on dates
I mean, are we really surprised here? Anyone that watches Bachelor Nation shows can very clearly tell that no one is eating anything while on the dates. Once again, the noise that would come from the clinking and clanking of utensils and the chewing is an editing issue.
So, the food is merely there as a decorative tool to stare at while the couple gazes into each other’s eyes.
There is no paycheck at the end of this
Contestants are not handed a hefty paycheck when all is said and done at the end of their journey. I feel pretty bad for each and every one of them considering what sacrifices are made to be on the show. If you aren’t getting paid and quit your job over this, how exactly do you make up for the time lost?
I guess try to be the Bachelor or Bachelorette since they do make upwards of $100,000 or more.
Having relationship problems? Give the ring back.
If a relationship ends before the two-year mark, the Neil Lane engagement ring has to be given back. No finders keepers!
Cameras and microphones are everywhere
Basically, you have to be on your A-game 24 hours a day. You have no option but to be so considering you’re being recorded all the time. I’m not sure if this extends to the bathroom or not, but that’s a bit frightening if you ask me.
And whether or not you know you are aware of being recorded, it doesn’t matter because once the contract is signed, your life belongs to ABC. Dun, dun, dun.
