Who is the woman Pilot Pete is referring to in this season’s promo of The Bachelor? We’ve got five guesses.

Every season of The Bachelor it seems like we get a huge tease in the promos. In Colton’s season it was the fence jump, in Hannah Brown’s season it was her “Jesus still loves me” speech, and on Bachelor in Paradise, it was the fight between Jordan and Christian.

This season we have Peter’s mom desperately pleading to him with a “Don’t let her go” and “Bring her home to us.” Is Peter’s mom this year’s fence jump? But who exactly is Peter’s mom talking about? Why is she so passionate about it?

Has she connected to one of the girls on the show that much or is she just being a little extra? All I know is Peter’s mom should be given an Emmy for that performance. If someone dubbed her in Spanish, I could have sworn I was watching a telenovela. Inquiring minds want to know who exactly Mrs. Weber is talking about.

Here are our top five guesses.

Madison

Madison is a solid pick because she already has a connection with Peter’s mom. They met when he brought her to his parents’ wedding vow renewal for their first date. It’s not out of the realm of possibilities that she had a connection with Madison on that date.

Madison came off as sweet and, so far, a pretty normal girl. She has got to be in the top 8 for this season’s The Bachelor–at the very least. However, if memory serves me correctly, the contestant that meets the parents before hometowns never ends up making it.

It happened on Nick’s season with Raven,  Colton’s season with Hannah, and on Ari’s season with Krystal. Bringing the girls to meet the parents before the hometown date is pretty much the kiss of death. Based on this alone, we don’t expect Madison to get to the end.

She may have all those state championship rings but she isn’t getting one from Neil Lane.

Hannah Brown

It makes total sense that Hannah is who she is talking about. Hannah is the only person she has a strong history with–and they follow each other on Instagram. Not only would this explain why his mom is so emotional, but it would also give us some closure because of the way things ended.

On the date where Hannah popped out on stage as if she was about to unveil the latest iPhone, you get to go backstage and hear a supercharged, raw, and emotional conversation. Peter looked like he was about to risk it all for Hannah Beast but then…nothing.

We got no closure on that storyline. Not only is Hannah a strong pick for who Barbara is talking about, but she is also the ending everyone is hoping for. I think America would love nothing more than to see Hannah take Peter home as if he was a man-size mirror ball trophy.
