The Bachelor season 24 has arrived, Bachelor Nation! Are you ready for it?

The Bachelor is finally back, thus ending the hiatus that has gone for entirely too long. We’ve had enough of this break, and let me tell you, I’m ready for all things Pilot Peter Weber. I think we’re in for a season full of the most puns this franchise has ever seen. And of course, our regularly scheduled dose of all kinds of drama.

I mean, is Hannah Brown actually back or what? And what about all these “non-spoiler” rumors that this season of The Bachelor won’t be ruined for anyone? And will this season give Pilot Pete a happy ending or an unconventional ending that this past year has brought for the franchise?

It’s safe to say we’re in for one hell of a ride (aren’t we always?) with Pilot Pete and his merry band of women. And with that said, let’s talk about five things we can expect from this season of The Bachelor!

Pilot and windmill puns

Oh, you know that we’ll be getting more than our fair share of pilot puns. I mean, if you’ve been paying attention to the promos, we’ve had some pretty hilarious ones already. “Expect turbulence” amongst them–I can’t get enough of it. Not to mention, three of the contestants this year are flight attendants, so brace yourself for what’s ahead.

I’m just hoping that we don’t get bombarded with so many that they lose their appeal. I’m sort of feeling that way about the windmill ones. But, it looks like we’re going to have to get used to it considering host Chris Harrison has clearly stated, “I’m being told we will beat those jokes to death.”

The windmill joke caught on very quickly after Hannah Brown infamously revealed she had sex in one during an argument with Luke Parker (oh, Luke). And of course, the “After the Rose” special revealed that Weber and Brown had sex four times in the windmill.

Naturally, the women were very excited to walk into this season prepared with all the windmill sex jokes they could think of. And I can’t even begin to stress just how excited I am to see the women incorporate it into their entrances.
