Will Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor have spoilers? Apparently not.

The Bachelor premieres on Monday, Jan. 6th, and up until now, the spoilers have been kept to a minimum. Not that I would know as I avoid them like the plague. However, according to this season’s Bachelor, Peter Weber, this will be the season of no spoilers.

I’m not sure I believe that because we’ve got folks like Reality Steve who are in the inner circle and know everything about everyone. But according to a feature done on The Bachelor’s Peter Weber, the man himself claims this season will be different.

This is something host Chris Harrison alluded to as well while speaking with Good Morning America. According to Harrison, Weber’s flight towards love may still be going on. Uh, what does that mean? This isn’t another Hannah Brown situation…is it?

Ugh, I hope not.

"There’s a reason no one’s going to find out the ending and I’m very happy with how everything turned out. And I am excited for everyone to tune in and have it be the first unspoiled season in a while. So it’s gonna be good."

Alright, Pilot Pete. Challenge accepted. Let’s see if he ends up being right when all is said and done at the end of this season’s The Bachelor. I don’t think I believe this is possible, but I’m willing to give Peter the benefit of the doubt.

The one thing that really resonated with me out of Weber’s comments was that he didn’t go into the season expecting much of anything. He didn’t demand love, he didn’t demand an engagement, nor did he demand that a relationship come out of it. I’d say that’s a nice change from the usual, wouldn’t you?

"When I decided to be The Bachelor, I obviously envisioned at the end, getting down on one knee and getting engaged to someone. That’s what I envisioned. Navigating the whole journey, I never made that an ultimatum that it had to happen that way and if it didn’t, it would be a failure for me. Not at all. I needed everything to be real and not forced. I was going to be true to myself, no matter what."

Once Weber’s statement about a “no spoiler season” was revealed, it was only natural that Bachelor Nation fans would try to get to the bottom of why. And where best to vet your theories than Reddit!

According to one fan, the hypothesis is the following:

"They either:A) filmed the finale indoors with one cameraman and one producer etc, to avoid anyone from production from spoiling.B) The final rose ceremony never happened. Or happened at a later date.C) finalists were given the strictest NDA in the history of NDAs."

The theory I feel is the most accurate is the one that says Weber’s final rose ceremony will happen during the “After the Rose” special. That way, no one will know what’s going to happen, because it simply hasn’t happened yet.

Now, that would be the best way to avoid spoilers! I’m totally on board with it–what about you?
