The Bachelor is less than a week away from premiering Peter Weber’s season–and I think it’s safe to say, we are so excited. There has been plenty of hype, promos, and everything in-between as January 6th grows closer. But there is something in particular that caught my eye this week–Peter Weber and Charlize Theron.

No, they’re not dating, but they could be flirting. Based on Instagram posts, this seems to be the case, and it makes us wonder all sorts of things. According to Entertainment Tonight, Theron has been a Bachelor Nation fan for quite some time, and it’s not something she shies away from.

Over this past week, Theron posed next to a poster of The Bachelor’s Peter Weber with this season’s infamous caption written on top–“Expect turbulence”. Theron’s response? An Instagram post of her next to the poster with the caption “Turbulence I like”. Alright, Charlize Theron–we see you.

The online “flirting” continued as Weber posed next to Theron’s Dior and posted to Instagram with the caption, “Turbulence can be fun”.

This raises a few questions in my mind. Does he actually end up with someone from his season on The Bachelor? And if he is currently with someone, what are her thoughts on this online flirting? And if he isn’t with anyone, can Weber and Theron potentially be a thing?

I don’t know about all of you, but it seems like Bachelor Nation shows seem to work out better for contestants after the fact, so never underestimate the power of what could happen here. I’m just saying!

If you take a peek at the comments under Weber’s post, you’ll see remarks from Colton Underwood–“Shoot your shot!”. Seriously, Peter Weber. You do your thing boy.

Of course, this can all be just some playful banter as Theron is a very open Bachelor Nation fan. She’s said as much back in 2018 during an interview with James Corden.

"I basically feel like I am dating The Bachelor, like, the show. On Monday nights because my kids can’t read a clock yet so I get them to bed at like 5:45 and then I open a bottle of wine, take a bath, I get all ready and that’s my date night. I date the show."

Unfortunately, she has no desire to actually be on the show. She’s content watching it from home, and gushing over everything the show has to offer. And can we blame her? It’s basically what all of us do, and I know I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Secure your seatbelts and brace yourself for the ride. The Bachelor premieres Monday, Jan. 6th on ABC (Are you freaking out? Because I am so freaking out!).
