Bachelor Nation is reacting to Jed Wyatt and his new girlfriend–thoughts?

Jed Wyatt made quite the dramatic splash on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. He left the show engaged to her, and as we all know, things didn’t exactly pan out. After all the crying, fighting, and secrets, Wyatt was essentially blacklisted from the hearts of Bachelor Nation.

In the months that have gone by, we’ve seen his social media presence increase, his looks change, and now, we can add a new girlfriend to the list. Earlier this week, Wyatt posted about his new boo, and suffice to say, Bachelor Nation wasn’t too pleased.

It would appear the relationship is in its early stages and the two met through a mutual friend, according to Wyatt’s caption. While he may have much to celebrate, Bachelor Nation is voicing their opinions on his new romantic endeavor with girlfriend Ellen Decker.

I’m not sure Jed Wyatt will ever live down the reputation he got after the cheating fiasco that ended his and Hannah’s relationship. It’s sort of stuck with him now and just in case he forgot, Bachelor Nation is there to remind him. As Cosmopolitan points out, the comments ranged from calling him a cheater to saying that he simply moved on too fast. In fact, some individuals tried to warn Decker by asking her to make sure there are no other girls in his life.

Clearly, many have yet to forgive him, and I’m not certain it’s going to happen anytime soon. While I’m not the biggest Jed Wyatt fan, I feel that at some point, everyone moves on. In his case, it’s a bit sooner than most would like, but it’s bound to happen.

I think it hurts more because Hannah Brown deserved better and it’s annoying to see the guy who hurt her happy. But hey, Brown just won Dancing with the Stars, and she has been killing it in every other aspect. She’s much stronger and bigger than anything Jed did to her.

Having said that, there are plenty of those out there with their opinions, and it’s not all that surprising. I suppose time will tell if Bachelor Nation can ever forgive Jed for what he did. But if you’re asking me, that isn’t going to be any time soon–just saying.
