Bachelor in Paradise viewers would like to know–what are you thinking, Blake Horstmann?

Bachelor in Paradise season 6 has not been kind to Blake Horstmann from day one. It’s primarily his fault in every way, but it sucks to see it coming back to bite him in the butt. He first dealt with Caelynn Miller-Keyes/Kristina Schulmann drama, and then it moved on to pursuing and being rejected by Hannah Godwin.

And now, five weeks into the season, he’s still not on the road to redemption. In fact, he’s basically making things difficult for himself, for no reason. Case in point? Week after week, Schulman and Horstmann keep giving each other “friendship roses” so they can give each other the opportunity to find love with someone else.

That’s all wonderful and kind, but when Horstmann finally made a connection with new arrival Caitlin Clemmens (from Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor), this whole “friendship rose” ordeal got in the way. Instead of giving his rose to Caitlin, who he clearly shared a connection with, he still gave his rose to Kristina.

WHAT ARE YOU THINKING, BLAKE?! WHY ARE YOU SABOTAGING YOUR TIME ON BACHELOR IN PARADISE?

You would think that after having such a horrible start to the season, he would know better than to do that. It makes no sense that he and Kristina keep giving each other roses like that, especially considering that when they do finally meet a potential, they don’t pursue it. Or rather, I should say Blake doesn’t pursue it.

I find it all kinds of silly, and I’d love to hear what the Bachelor Nation fans think about this whole situation. Does it make any sense to you any of you?

Blake went from basically telling Caitlin that he’s planning on giving her the rose to picking Kristina at the ceremony. In that 20+ minute gap where he spoke to Kristina, he shot himself in the foot, quite literally.

I really thought he’d know better, especially with all the drama he’s experienced on Bachelor in Paradise. Come on, Blake. You should know better, this was your second chance! Okay, well maybe third or fourth chance, but you get the point.

I’m clearly frustrated over Blake’s most recent choice, but I want to know what all of you think.
