A new arrival in Bachelor in Paradise doesn’t bode well for Nicole Lopez-Alvar and Clay Harbor’s relationship.

Bachelor in Paradise really did go there this week, Bachelor Nation–and it’s not going to end well. To give everyone a brief recap, in the second episode of the week, everyone in Paradise was invited to Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson’s wedding. At the wedding, you may have noticed many familiar faces from Bachelor Nation, one of them being Clay Harbor’s ex, Angela Amezcua.

Yes, the very same Angela that Clay had an eight-month relationship that ended in heartbreak and the one that Annaliese Puccini kept bringing up earlier on in the season. Thanks to some savvy editing skills and Clay’s awkward expressions, the situation was set up to make Clay look uncomfortable and desperate to be around his ex.

Meanwhile, Angela trotted down the aisle as Krystal’s bridesmaid with confidence and sass. Everyone couldn’t stop talking about her, and of course, they did this all in front of Nicole. Clay and Nicole’s relationship, up until now, has been one of the strongest on Bachelor in Paradise but I have a feeling that is about to change.

Following the wedding, there was an after-party that only a select few of those in Paradise were invited to. With some very strategic and though-out planning, Nicole was not invited to the party and Clay was (of course, he was). And it was during this party that Clay and Angela had a one-on-one conversation that made me feel angry for Nicole and annoyed at Clay.

Based on what Angela had to say, it was clear that she did not want to break up and Clay did. He was lost and confused after his NFL dreams didn’t come true, and he simply didn’t want to pursue a relationship when he felt so lost. I can understand that, but what the heck are you trying to do now, Clay? You’re with Nicole!

Watching this entire conversation from a distance was Tayshia Adams who immediately told Nicole what she saw go down. This led to Nicole confronting Clay who promised her she had nothing to worry about. Okay, so things are fine then, right? NOPE. Not at all.

Guess who conveniently walks down the stairs right at that moment? ANGELA. Ugh, I know you’ll agree with me Bachelor Nation when I say that seeing her made my heart sink for Nicole.

What is going to happen now that Angela is on Paradise? Will Clay be with her or Nicole? And how messed up are the folks over at Bachelor in Paradise for bringing her into the mix? Share your thoughts and comments below!
