After falling in love on The Bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo have finally tied the know!

Bachelorette brought Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo together, and now, they are officially married! See, this show does work. Over the weekend in Cancun, Mexico, the two celebrated their nuptials with family and friends in an intimate setting. PEOPLE got the exclusive coverage on the Lindsay/Abasolo wedding, and if you want to see how amazing the couple looked on their big day, just click here.

Everyone loves a great love story, and Lindsay and Abasolo have such an adorable one. We all remember that romantic moment Bryan got down on one knee and asked Rachel to spend the rest of her life with him. Sigh, it was Spain, they were on top of a castle–it was perfect.

Other Bachelor Nation folks were in attendance at the wedding including Kristina Schulman, Bibiana Julian, and Astrid Loch. Nothing like a Bachelor Nation wedding to get everyone back together again, well, unless you go to Stagecoach. You’ll definitely see all of them there.

The couple’s wedding planner spoke to PEOPLE and gushed about the wedding events, particularly the couple. I love that they had handwritten vows and everything about the wedding seemed simple and elegant. Just a celebration of love!

In an earlier interview, Bachelorette alum spoke to PEOPLE about the decision not to make the wedding a televised event. And I respect that. They could have gone down that route and made a big fuss, but at the end of the day, it was all about them. However, Lindsay did initially consider a TV wedding but quickly changed her mind.

"I wanted a TV wedding. I 100 percent did. Then, as we got to know each other in the real world and things became normalized, and then I started hearing horror stories about these TV weddings, I am very thankful that we don’t have one and that we’re doing it on our own. I also think that it shows to the world or Bachelor Nation that what we have is more real."

There is definitely some truth to that statement. We usually see these guys in a confined place with many restrictions and the environment is not always genuine. It may feel like the perfect place, but the real world is very different. Keeping this day for themselves was the best thing they could have done.

dark. Next. Attention Bachelor Nation, you can now be a contestant in your hometown!

We wish both Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo a wonderful life together, and a big hearty Bachelor Nation congratulations!
