This week’s Bachelor in Paradise instigated some off-screen drama in the Twitterverse.

Bachelor in Paradise is now two weeks into the sixth season, but given the amount of drama, it feels like it’s been months. First we had the Blake Horstmann love triangle drama (which still seems to be lingering around), then we had Dylan’s broken heart because of aforementioned drama, and now it seems things are heating up for Demi Burnett.

From the Bachelor in Paradise promos and the on-screen revelation about her sexuality, fans became aware that there is a mystery woman in Demi’s life. We don’t know anything about her except for the fact that she and Demi were dating before the show. From what I’ve observed, Demi has been talking about this woman in most of her conversations on-camera so it isn’t exactly a secret.

We may be learning about it now, but the cast and crew became aware early on. The reason I point this out is that following this week’s episodes, Bachelor in Paradise alum Tanner Tolbert had a little something to say about the whole Demi dating someone before the show situation. Let’s just say Tolbert was very vocal due to the fact that he met his wife on the show, and because of this, he holds the show in high regard.

He feels that Demi is tainting it by having a prior relationship coming into the show. A situation he likens to what Jed Wyatt did to Hannah Brown on the recent season of The Bachelorette. If you don’t know about that drama, that’s a whole other story. Basically, Jed and Hannah got engaged, the truth about his relationship with someone back home came out, and they broke up. I’m not sure I agree with Tolbert about Demi doing the same thing. I don’t think she’s been lying about it, at all.

If you’re curious about this epic Twitter war between Tolbert and Demi, feast your eyes on it below:

Amidst all of this, Hannah B. spoke out in Demi’s defense stating that she is not behaving like Jed, something she knows a little bit about.

There hasn’t been any response from Tolbert’s end to Hannah B.’s tweet, but I don’t know even know why he’s engaging. He’s found happiness, he’s married, he’s in love, just let it go, dude.

dark. Next. Bachelor in Paradise: Dang, Chris Harrison is throwing some shade!
