Bachelor Nation, let’s talk about whose in the running to be the next potential Bachelor.

Bachelor Nation is on the edge of their seats as we anxiously await to find out who the next Bachelor will be. After Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette ended, we were all pretty certain that the honor would go to Michael Johnson. But it looks like this may not be the case after all.

If you’ve been watching this season of Bachelor in Paradise then you know that in the next episode, Mike will be joining the others on their quest for love. And it turns out that the producers of The Bachelor are waiting to see how the audience reacts to make their final decision, based on a Cosmopolitan article. And I don’t blame them. It’s worth it to wait in the off-chance that he does something outlandish and loses fan support.

But it seems like Mike isn’t the only contender to take up the infamous mantle. We can’t forget fan-favorites Peter Weber and Tyler Cameron from Hannah B.’s season who also snuggled their way into the hearts of Bachelor Nation. Realistically, it would seem that Pete would be the logical choice, if not Mike, considering Tyler C. is a bit occupied in a love triangle of sorts.

A representative from E! gave fans a little tidbit of information regarding who may ultimately take the title, and it looks like all signs point to Pete.

"Peter has always been their guy…He’s older, he has a career and he has a great backstory. He can definitely carry a show."

I think our best bet will be to see how Mike’s time on paradise goes and based on that, we can all but deduce who will go on to lead the next journey towards finding their one true love. Personally, I’d like to see Mike as the next Bachelor, but I wouldn’t Pete either. In an ideal world, it’d be Tyler C. but I think he has surpassed the idea of being a part of this franchise.

After all, he could be dating Gigi Hadid. So, I think he’ll be okay either way.
