Grab your popcorn and phone because the Bachelor in Paradise season 6 drama continues with Caelynn Miller-Keyes’ response.

Bachelor in Paradise is truly stirring a giant pot of angsty drama early on in its season which makes me wonder what is yet to come. If you tuned in for the two-night premiere event this week, then you learned all about Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Blake Horstmann having an alleged relationship before coming onto the show, and how Blake ghosted Caelynn.

This has pretty much been the topic of conversation since Bachelor in Paradise season 6 premiered, and as expected, both individuals are finally speaking out about the situation. Earlier this week, Horstmann posted personal texts between him and Miller-Keyes in an attempt to explain that he wasn’t at fault.

After all the backlash he received, and the anger that it caused towards Miller-Keyes, Horstmann eventually took down the screenshotted text messages, but by then, the damage had already been done.

Now, about an entire day later, Miller-Keyes has taken to her Instagram to defend her honor against all this drama the premiere of Bachelor in Paradise has brought forth.

I have to agree that it was a bit unnecessary to post such personal texts for everyone to see. The context in them is very clear but we don’t know the whole story so it’s tough to say who is in the wrong, or if anyone actually is. But based on what we’ve seen on Bachelor in Paradise thus far, it certainly paints Horstmann in a bad light. Things aren’t looking to be in his favor, so I’m curious to see where the rest of the season will take us in regards to this situation.

I do commend Miller-Keyes for speaking out not just about Horstmann, but about her own traumatic experience as a victim of sexual assault. She seeks to clarify some of the harsh comments that have been directed at her since the text messages have been released, and isn’t taking them lightly.

In her Instagram post, she proceeds to say that she hopes everyone can move on and look ahead to the future instead of choosing to focus on this situation, and I would have to agree. We still have an entire season of Bachelor in Paradise ahead of us, and who knows what exciting things it will bring? Can’t we just celebrate that instead, folks?
