Looks like the entire world was tuning in to find out which guy Miss Hannah Brown was going to pick on the Bachelorette season 15, part 2 finale.

The Bachelorette raked in viewers by the millions last night and broke its previous rating records from the 2017 finale. But I mean, are we surprised? If we are, we shouldn’t be. There was a lot going on as Hannah dwindled it down to the last two men, Jed, and Tyler C., and many people wanted to know just where this entire journey would end.

Of course, we got an ending we did NOT see coming (unless, of course, you read the spoilers) and it left Bachelor Nation with their mouths wide open in shock and awe. And it’s not often a reality television series can do that in a genuine way.

According to Variety, about 7.4 million viewers tuned in to watch part 2 of the finale, beating out the night before which had about 7.15 million viewers. They came fairly close to the number of viewers that tuned in for NBC’s America’s Got Talent but didn’t quite surpass them. Either way, it’s impressive just how obsessed Bachelor Nation became with this season of The Bachelorette.

If I’m being honest, when I first started watching Bachelor Nation shows, I didn’t anticipate that I’d end up enjoying The Bachelorette more than The Bachelor. But I have to say, the former just beats out the latter in so many ways. I can’t quite explain it but I was so engrossed in Hannah B.’s adventures this season that I completely forgot about Colton’s drama and fence jump.

I think what made last night’s ending to the season 15 finale worth it was seeing Hannah defend herself and leave Jed behind and look ahead to the future. However, I’m not sure how I feel about her considering going back to Tyler C.–that’s not super cool, is it? Sigh, let’s see what happens there!
