Mike Johnson could most definitely be our next Bachelor

Wouldn’t we all love it if Mike Johnson was our next Bachelor?

Bachelor Nation is starting to look ahead to the 24th season already despite the fact that we still need to see the conclusion to Hannah B.’s season of The Bachelorette and the entire sixth season of Bachelor in Paradise. But hey, it’s never too early to start theorizing and making up our own lists, right?

After having a very intense and whirlwind season on the Bachelorette, Mike Johnson quickly nestled a place in our hearts with his good looks and that smile–oh, that amazing smile. In fact, I’m pretty sure his smile could cure so many ailments if it tried. Yes, it’s that amazing.

Anyway, ever since Bachelor Nation got to know of Mike, we can all agree that we’ve been rooting for him to be the next Bachelor. And it looks like we may have been heard, well, sort of. According to The Hollywood Reporter, host Chris Harrison had a little something to say about Mike during Monday’s night “Men Tell All” episode.

"Everyone’s excited about Mike here tonight. I love him. The smile, the charm, the sincerity, the maturity. He’s a great man and I feel like he’s a dear friend of mine already, so he’s a great candidate and he’s definitely going to be in the mix."

Definitely going to be in the mix, you say? And why wouldn’t he! Of course, it is anyone’s game at this point considering we still have to wrap up season 15 of The Bachelorette as well as go through the sixth season of Bachelor in Paradise. There’s always room for someone else to snuggle their way into our hearts and make us question and debate who we really want to be the next Bachelor.

Whatever the case may be, I am happy to know that Mike is at least in the potential running and in the minds of the production team because quite honestly, I think he’d make a great Bachelor, not to mention be the first black one. He’s got just about everything we love and adore in one, so here’s hoping that our dreams come true!
