Tyler C. isn’t just the best Bachelorette contestant ever, but he just might be the best human we’ve ever known.
Bachelorette and pretty much the rest of Bachelor Nation contestants come and go. Some make their mark, while others are lost in the wind over time. But one contestant perhaps we all will never forget is the incredible (and very handsome) Tyler C. He didn’t start off as the contender for Hannah’s heart when all this started but now that we’ve reached the end, most of us have changed our minds about him.
He’s sweet, caring, open-minded, and incredibly understanding. I’m not entirely sure he even exists if I’m being honest. And while some of us don’t know whether or not he will walk away with the heart of our Bachelorette (I know some of you know the ending, but shhh), what we do know is that he has come to the defense of the controversial Luke P.
Yes, the very same Luke P. who is being ridiculed for slut-shaming Hannah and making a fuss about her personal choices. Side note: He’s totally entitled to his opinions, but it is the manner in which he conveys them that really gets our blood boiling. But anyway, after a very intense and brutal “Men Tell All” episode with Luke P. in the hot seat for the better part of an hour, Tyler C. decided to speak out in favor of this season’s most hated Bachelorette contestant.
Ugh, fine, Tyler C. We get it, you’re perfect and it turns out you even have the sweetest heart. I think this guy may be the death of some of us (if you’ve seen his Instagram modeling posts, you know what I’m talking about).
I’m all in favor of following the high road with Tyler C., but I do have to say that Luke P. ought to have some words of apology for Hannah. He took it a bit far and came off too misogynistic for his own good. Just take a look at what he said during the “Men Tell All” episode, as Cosmopolitan points out:
"From day one coming here, I felt like I was on a rescue mission for Hannah. That’s how I look at it. I really felt like I was something that was going to be good for her as a future husband."
Ugh, please just stop Luke P. Just stop.
