The Bachelorette: Hometowns, windmills, and the big fight
By Ariba Bhuvad
This season on The Bachelorette…things are going to get crazy–really crazy.
The Bachelorette promos always prepare us for the drama that is waiting right around the corner. And if you watched the promo after last week’s episode, then you know s*** is about to hit the roof. But before we get to that point, there are hometowns to look forward to.
Hannah will be heading to the hometowns of Jed, Luke P., Tyler C., and Peter to get cozy and comfy with their friends and family. If the past is any indication, then we can expect things to get awkward and serious real fast. But not all hometown dates are cringe-worthy!
Based on the promo below, there’s plenty of cute moments as Hannah joins Luke P. in prayer, basks in Tyler C.’s warm embrace as he points out his childhood home, and sets sail with Peter. And guess what? Officially, each and every one of the four men left are smitten and in love with Miss Hannah Brown.
As a shirtless Tyler C. puts it, “Things are heating up, and I need to cool down.” Indeed, this is the case. And we’re here for the steamy, passionate ride! However, Bachelorette fans, let’s not forget we have one contestant that is eager to fan the fire. Who is it you ask? We’ll give you one guess.
It turns out Luke P. isn’t about having sex in the infamous fantasy suite, or at all before marriage. Which is certainly not an issue or something for him to be judged about, but what will throw you off is watching what he has to say in the promo above.
Essentially, he’s judging Hannah hardcore about her stance on sex before marriage, which leads Hannah to letting him in on a secret–she’s had sex with one of the contestants twice in a…windmill. But don’t worry Luke, because as Hannah puts it, “Jesus still loves me.” Clearly, based on the promo above we have a lot of drama left to witness on The Bachelorette and therefore, it’s safe to say, this epic showdown between Luke P. and Hannah is this season’s version of Colton’s fence jump.
My guess? Luke P. will leave after this argument, and come back with a ring to propose. In fact, I think it’s the guy Chris Harrison is referring to in the promo for a future episode where he’s telling Hannah that one of the guys is there ready to propose. Just wait for it, because I’m pretty sure that’s what will happen. And if it doesn’t, then well, A for effort, right?
