Here’s everything we know about season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise!
Bachelor in Paradise is rapidly approaching which means a whole new season of drama as past contestants of Bachelor Nation come together to fight for another chance at love. I, for one, can’t wait to see this particular bunch of contestants come together especially since a bulk of them were just on the previous season of The Bachelor and on the current season of The Bachelorette.
There are already some ships swirling around in my head, and I know many fans will agree with me when I mention them later. For those of you who don’t know what Bachelor in Paradise is or are new to Bachelor Nation, it’s basically the same premise except for a few minor differences.
First off, there is an uneven amount of people in the group because, at the first rose ceremony, six men hand out roses to six women, and the two women without roses go home. When the next episode comes around, two more men are added to the mix to replace the two women who left making it so there are more men than women. The roles reverse as the women now get to hand out roses to the men they’re interested in. This is basically the premise week after week as the men and women switch off as leads.
If you’re following along then you can probably identify why this show might be better than its sister shows. There is way more drama with new people coming in every week, and it’s sure to create chaos in paradise with the surprise element of new contestants each episode.
Okay, so now that we know all about what Bachelor in Paradise is, let’s talk about season 6.
Airs: Every Monday night at 8 PM EST on ABC starting Aug. 5th
Host: Chris Harrison (duh, who else!)
The contestants: In June we learned about the first 7 contestants that would be part of the Bachelor in Paradise cast, and immediately the internet broke. The rest of the cast members were announced during the series premiere of Grand Hotel. Now, keep in mind more will be added due to the nature of the show as the season progresses. Check out all the contestants below (there are some great ones in there!).
Annaliese Puccini
Annaliese was on The Bachelor season 22 with Arie Luyendyk Jr. as well as the fifth season of Bachelor in Paradise. Third time’s a charm?
Bibiana Julian
Bibiana was seen in Arie’s season of The Bachelor as well as The Bachelor Winter Games, and season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise. Can she find her one true love this time around?
Blake Horstmann
We last saw Blake during Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette back in season 14. Let’s see how the whole love thing works out for him this time around.
Caelynn Miller-Keyes
Things may not have worked out for Caelynn and Colton on The Bachelor (although they are best friends forever now courtesy of Cassie), but she is officially heading to Bachelor in Paradise!
Cam Ayala
Always. Be. Cam. A phrase that fans of Hannah Brown’s current season of The Bachelorette will never forget thanks to this contestant. How will he fare in paradise? I can’t wait to find out.
Chris Bukowski
Bukowski is certainly not a stranger when it comes to Bachelor Nation, and here’s why. He’s been on: The Bachelorette Season 8 (Emily Maynard) and season 10 (Andi Dorfman), Bachelor Pad Season 3, and Bachelor in Paradise Seasons 1 and 2. This is not his first rodeo so let’s just say he’s got quite the advantage.
Clay Harbor
Last seen on The Bachelorette season 14 (Becca’s season), Clay is trying his hand at finding true love once again!
Demi Burnett
Demi’s cast announcement is probably the most exciting one for the sixth season of Bachelor in Paradise after she sassed her way into our hearts back during Colton’s season on The Bachelor. I, for one, can’t wait to see what she gets up to in paradise.
Derek Peth
Peth will return for a second try on Bachelor in Paradise after being in season 4 and was also in JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette back in season 12.
Hannah Godwin
The Southern belle from Colton’s season will be back for another shot at love on Bachelor in Paradise. Here’s to hoping she finds true love after the heartbreak she went through!
Jane Averbukh
Jane is back on the quest for true love after being on Colton’s season of The Bachelor.
John Paul Jones
He didn’t win over Hannah Brown’s heart on The Bachelorette this season, but here’s to hoping John Paul Jones finds love on Bachelor in Paradise. Ahem, you know, like with, DEMI.
Katie Morton
Katie is one of the many heading to BiP after Colton’s season. It’s almost like a repeat of The Bachelor season 23, isn’t it?
Kevin Fortenberry
Kevin didn’t find love with Hannah B. on The Bachelorette, but perhaps paradise will have something else in store for him.
Nicole Lopez-Alvar
She spent most of Colton’s season in tears, but here’s to hoping it’s nothing but joy in paradise for Nicole!
Onyeka Ehie
Yes, yes, another cast member from Colton’s season of The Bachelor.
Sydney Lotuaco
Aaaand…another one! Dang, is this looking good or bad for Colton?
Tayshia Adams
Tayshia is one of my favorite contestants out of the Colton bunch, and after how it ended for her on The Bachelor, she truly deserves another chance at true love, second to Hannah G.
Wills Reid
Wills was first seen on the fourteenth season of The Bachelor vying for Becca’s love and was most recently on the fifth season of Bachelor in Paradise. Let’s see what the sixth season of BiP brings him in the love department.
That’s a wrap on everything we know about season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise. All that’s left to do is mark Aug. 5th on our calendars and get ready for another epic season with some of our favorite contestants!
