The Bachelorette week 4 power rankings: The Luke train can’t be stopped
4. Garrett
Just like what happened with Peter during episode 3 of The Bachelorette, here we see another week in which a contestant benefits thanks to one of Luke P.’s explosions. Seriously: the crazier this guy gets, the better everyone else looks. If he starts targeting one contestant exclusively for the rest of the season, I swear he could get that guy engaged to Hannah Brown.
This week, the lucky “better by contrast” contestant was definitely Garrett. In fact, he outright noted that he wasn’t going to let this episode turn into “The Luke P. Show” (sorry that didn’t work out, bro).
Garrett saw an opening to be vulnerable with Hannah and, boy, did he take it. He told her he had caught feelings for her and then he made a connection when she needed some comfort the most. Hannah seemed to really like the moment of sweet among the chaos. Later, she honored the move with her coveted group date rose.
Will Garrett’s standout status last into next week on The Bachelorette? We can’t be sure of that yet. He hasn’t made this big of an impression in weeks past, so there’s certainly the chance that he’ll fade into oblivion over the last few weeks. We’ll keep you posted; for now he’s just someone to watch.
