We are so thrilled: Bachelor in Paradise sweetheart couple Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk are finally engaged! In case you missed it, their exciting announcement came out on Instagram on Sunday.

The official engagement happened at the end of last month on May 31. Gottschalk proposed in Dallas, Texas. Raven posted a series of moving photos of  their beautiful moment, showing off a glitzy new diamond ring on her finger. They look impossibly happy!

Bachelor Nation was quick to show its support. Plenty of other Bachelor and Bachelorette alumni took to Instagram to comment on the excitement. Kaitlyn Bristowe wrote, “Omgomgomg YES love this and love you two.” Even new papa Arie Luyendyk Jr. (he literally just had his daughter, Alessi Ren, days ago) took a second of pause from his own excitement to comment, “Adam did good on that ring.”

We love everything about this engagement. Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk are kind of a unique couple among their Bachelor Nation peers in that they have taken their time to explore their relationship before jumping in to a firm commitment. Even on Bachelor in Paradise, Raven made it clear that she wanted to really be sure about Adam before she chose him.

This delayed announcement of their proposal is perfectly fitting with the couple’s style. It’s clear that Raven and Adam take their intimacy seriously and don’t feel the need to make a show on social media before enjoying a real connection.

So what are all the deets on the upcoming wedding? Unfortunately, we don’t know a lot right now. Obviously, we’ll keep you updated when we get new details. Knowing this BiP couple, though, we could be in for a long engagement in the same style as how they took their time in their relationship.
