Spoiler alert: this post discusses the ultimate fate of Bachelorette contestant Cam Ayala. Read at your own discretion. Enjoy!

Oh, Cam Ayala. I’d play nice and say that you’ll be missed on The Bachelorette, but honestly it’s just a relief knowing that you won’t be around to waste any more perfectly good chicken nuggets. Still, you piqued our curiosity during your brief run on the show and now we want to know what you’re up to these days.

Bachelor Nation, are you also morbidly fascinated with Mr. ABC? If so, read on for all the details about what Cam is doing now that the cameras have been put away.

Remember his leg?

The tragic story Cam told on The Bachelorette may have been a part of his thinly veiled attempt to earn pity points with Hannah B., but there is actually quite a bit of truth behind the myriad of unnecessary details. Cam really does have Lymphedema, a condition caused by a blockage in the lymphatic system.

These days, Cam considers himself a Lymphedema advocate. He was even recently named a “celebrity ambassador” for the Lymphatic Education and Research Network. You can read a blog post he penned about his experiences here.

Dishing the dirt

Since leaving The Bachelorette, Cam has not held back on giving out his opinions. He’s appeared on the notable Bachelorette-review show Roses and Rosé, and has given a few interviews.

Recently, Cam commented on the other mansion pariah, Luke P. He said that he “got a weird vibe” from his cast mate and that he and several other competitors consciously distanced themselves from the Georgia-based suitor.

Social media savvy

Most importantly for your viewing pleasure, Cam remains active on social media. You can check his Instagram here, where he has been posting Lymphedema updates but seems to be taking a step back from the Bachelorette memes.

What’s next for Cam Ayala? Who can say. Maybe we’ll see him in Paradise, busting out more raps and plowing through more chicken nuggets.
