The Bachelorette week 3 power rankings: A little note goes a long way
1. Connor S.
Connor S. did everything right this week. His success on The Bachelorette is impossible to ignore.
Connor S. saw his first win when Hannah invited him on a one-on-one date. This is always a good sign on its own but—as Connor himself pointed out—there’s probably a good reason that he got the date this week after having had very little time with Hannah last week: she feels comfortable with their relationship status.
During the date, Connor really made the best out of a bad situation. The Bachelorette was sick and confined to her hospital room. Connor pulled some really cute moves (Flowers? Soup? My heart!) and showed his lady that he can be flexible and creative.
Later, he proved that he can also be vulnerable when he talked about his mother’s stroke. Vulnerability is always a good thing, assuming it isn’t fake the way that Cam’s tragedy-laden story seemed to feel earlier in the same episode. This decision to open up seemed to pay off the same way that it did for Mike when he spoke about his previous miscarriage.
Will Connor’s positive momentum carry into next week? It feels good for him so far. He’s the surprise frontrunner that we didn’t foresee making this good of an impression.
