The Bachelorette week 3 power rankings: A little note goes a long way

THE BACHELORETTE - "1503" - Eight men get the surprise of their life as husband and wife actors Jason Biggs ("American Pie" movies, "Orange Is the New Black") and Jenny Mollen (TV series "Angel" and "Crash") take them to a birthing class with hilarious results. Which one of Hannah's suitors will endure the experience of simulating childbirth? The Bachelorette gets a real-life health scare and one bachelor comes to her rescue. In return, she rewards him with a private concert by Danish pop and soul band Lukas Graham, performing their hit, "Love Someone." 2. Jed

As we noted in last week’s power rankings, Jed is the contestant we just can’t shake. Even when he doesn’t get the same amount of screen time as some of the other contestants, he always seems to make a lasting impression with the Bachelorette.

This week Jed went on the labor pains group date. He didn’t win the group date rose (that honor went to Mike), but he still had a memorable connection with Hannah. They spoke about Nashville and then about their relationship, which he called “the most important thing.” Later, they shared another steamy kiss.

While Jed didn’t have any crazy standout moments this episode, we think it’s worth taking into account his history on the show so far. He has consistently had positive experiences with Hannah and it feels like his momentum is going in the right direction. Every leading contestant will take a back seat on at least a date or two, and we suspect that, true to pattern, Jed will make a grand return next week or the week after.

Long story short: don’t mind that he didn’t nab an early rose this week. Jed has been doing very well on The Bachelorette and—when you take into account other front runner Luke P.’s awkward implosion this week—he’s starting to feel like the most consistent winner when it comes to Hannah’s heart.
