The Bachelorette week 3 power rankings: A little note goes a long way
3. Mike
Mike! We love Mike!
And we’re not alone. Twitter has been all over the guy. There have even been a few small campaigns to see him named the next Bachelor if he doesn’t outright win The Bachelorette.
It’s easy to understand all of the support for Mike. He comes off as a very genuine, very nice guy. This good nature seems to be paying off with Hannah, too, who gave him a group date rose this week.
The validation came for Mike after he chose this week to open up about an extremely difficult time in his life. He spoke about getting his ex pregnant and how they lost the child during the second trimester. He was extremely vulnerable and the moment felt very raw and real.
This was a risk that paid off. If the Bachelorette had been anyone else, there was always the possibility that they’d hear about Mike’s extremely intimate connection with an ex and then written him off completely. But as Hannah Brown has already spent some on-screen time talking about how she’s comfortable with sex and won’t judge anyone for their relationships, it feels like Mike had the perfect women to connect with over his moving story.
