Which men are in the lead this season on The Bachelorette? We’re breaking down the power rankings coming out of night one.
Our first episode of The Bachelorette season 15 has come and gone. Hannah Brown made some bold choices during her premiere, including sending one contestant home for having a secret girlfriend (good riddance!), nixing a few early fan favorites, and handing out her first impression rose to a controversial pick.
So who came out of night one on top? Here’s our power ranking for the top 4 men who have a shot at stealing her heart.
Connor S.
Lowest on our list but still definitely a power player is Connor S. A 24-year-old investment analyst from Dallas, TX, this guy had all the right moves on night one.
He made a memorable first impression right off the bat by jumping the fence, an act which both showed his knowledge of Hannah Brown’s season on The Bachelor as well as his physical prowess. Later, when he got some coveted one-on-one time, Connor sealed the deal with the Bachelorette by initiating a steamy makeout. He was on a high about it and so was she. She couldn’t stop giggling afterward and even said that she was glad that he was on the show.
Cam
We can’t ignore the power that Cam had going in to night one. As the winner of the Bachelorette’s first rose on After the Final Rose, it was immediately clear that he was going to be someone to watch. That good first impression with Hannah seemed to carry over into night one at the mansion, where he chose to rap again for her.
Unfortunately, Cam is a little cocky about nabbing that first rose. This attitude, combined with the fact that Hannah opted to give another man her first impression rose, leads us to believe that he better watch himself if he wants to keep his spot in Hannah’s heart.
Jed
This power ranking is based purely on chemistry. Jed came in to night one swinging when he sang for Hannah. Usually these crooners on The Bachelorette can feel a little awkward if the guy doesn’t have the singing chops he *thinks* that he has. But Jed was great! And Hannah definitely took notice. He dropped in a “Roll Tide” joke and made her blush.
Behind the scenes, Hannah commented, “Damn, that was sexy” and went on to say that she had a “total crush” on Jed. It definitely feels like there’s something strong growing between them already.
Luke P.
You had to know that the winner of the first impression rose would top our list! Luke P. put in some serious time with the Bachelorette to earn that flower, with so many hot plays that some folks on Twitter mused that he had a Bachelorette playbook handy at home.
To recap his best power moves, Luke P. stole Hannah first, hugged her when she was cold and sad (even if he didn’t offer up his jacket) and then stole a passionate kiss by the fire. The guy is clearly here to play.
Luke P. is a controversial figure right now, as many fans of The Bachelorette seem to doubt whether he is being genuine. Whether he is or isn’t here for the right reasons, though, he’s clearly doing something right.
