1. Demi and Katie expose the truth

We’re always down for a season twist on The Bachelorette! Hannah Brown’s installment of the series brought a really fun one with former Bachelor contestants Katie Morton and Demi Burnett flying out to play her spies.

Before they got down to business, though, the ladies shared a drink and got excited about the potential of Hannah finding love. It was incredibly endearing and really helped to showcase Hannah’s down-to-earth personality when she’s hanging with her friends.

Soon, the ladies were loading into an inconspicuous white van (ha) and spying on the dudes. It was a twist that felt really fresh and unique, with the added bonus of giving a voice to all of us critical Bachelor Nation viewers who love to roast the contestants as we watch the season premiere.

The segment was full of memorable one-liners, mostly thanks to the always quotable Demi Burnett.  God, we hope these girls come back for Bachelor in Paradise.

The most dramatic part of this, though, was when Demi revealed that contestant Scott HAD A SECRET GIRLFRIEND BACK HOME. That’s right! While The Bachelorette panned back and forth between Demi spilling the tea and Scott telling his boys how he was “in it for the long term,” those of us at home were collectively having a nationwide heart attack.
