The Bachelorette premiere: Ranking the top 3 questionable contestants
1. Luke P.
Alright, we get it: Luke is supposed to be a Christian good guy at heart. He spent his intro video reading from the Bible and talking about preparing himself to be a good husband. Obviously church is important to him.
Unfortunately, he has some red flags that make us question whether he’s really good through and through. For one thing, he started his intro video working out. Obviously there’s nothing wrong with taking care of your body, but it definitely felt like a flex to see Luke hitting the weights right off the bat. An intro video is supposed to showcase what is most important to a contestant and if his image is the biggest part of his life. . . you can color us a little concerned.
Luke also took a moment to point out that he used to “take advantage of girls” who found him attractive. We’re glad that he says he’s moved on, but right now we’re just taking his word on that. There are already early rumors buzzing that Luke will be the villain of The Bachelorette season 15. Will the other men in the house believe that he hasn’t quite outgrown his womanizing ways? We just hope he doesn’t hurt our precious Hannah Brown.
All that being said, it’s worth noting that Luke got the first impression rose. It’s clear that our girl is falling hard for him. He’s doing something right. . . we just can’t shake that there’s something shady under the surface there. Prove us wrong, Luke!
