The Bachelorette reunion special aired on Monday, May 6. We came into this season swinging with nostalgia, secrets and plenty of Nick Viall jokes.

The Bachelorette is officially back, baby!! While Hannah Brown’s season won’t start until next Monday, May 13, the ABC gods were kind enough to give us an incredible reunion to help bring us out of the dark times.

And lucky for us, despite the many (many) clips from past seasons, it was pretty friggin’ great. The reunion featured 12 former Bachelorettes, each ready to spill secrets, embrace the mansion nostalgia and make jokes about their exes.

After all the throwback clips, the Bachelorette reunion kicked off with a bus tour led by Chris Harrison. It tapped into our intense, primal desire to obsess over Bachelorette details.

Seriously, guys: why doesn’t ABC offer this tour year round? Would willingly give up one of my children to participate in the festivities.

Next, the tour bus made a stop with former Bach Nick Viall. While the fans he spoke with all seemed excited to see him, Twitter came after him hard.  My joke cup runneth over.

Ah, Nick. You’ve dated everyone in Bachelor Nation by now. The Bachelorette reunion was basically a Nick Viall exes reunion.

No, Nick wasn’t the only former Bach that Twitter came after.

Throughout the episode, we got a few interesting little behind-the-scenes tidbits. Some were dramatic, others were just. . . a lot.

What a ride! The Bachelorette reunion was a great intro to our new season. We can’t wait for more! Next week, get your friends together, get that wine ready and let’s watch Hannah Brown get her fairytale wedding. The show will return on Monday, May 13.
