The Bachelor’s Colton Underwood and Cassie talk televised wedding
There’s no ring yet, but that isn’t stopping this The Bachelor pair from talking about a televised wedding. Read on about Colton and Cassie’s future.
Their turn on The Bachelor may be over, but that doesn’t mean that superstar couple Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph have left their on-camera lives behind. They’ve been the subject of many a paparazzi photo lately and, as if that wasn’t enough, now they’re talking about what their on-camera future looks like.
While the couple isn’t engaged yet (ICYMI: Cassie left The Bachelor before Colton could propose), they’re already addressing whether or not their wedding would play out on live television. The pair recently appeared on Sirius XM’s The Jenny McCarthy Show to promote the app Tubi’s streaming of their recent season. Cassie got candid, saying, “I would be open to talking about [a televisded wedding].” Sounds like it’s far from being ruled out.
Furthermore, Colton went on to volunteer that they’ve already explored future on-screen options.
"We’ve talked about what we’re gonna do next, if it’s gonna be another show. We don’t have enough drama in our relationship to fill a show of ourselves, but I would love to show some of the fun, cool memories that we’re making together."
Not exactly a normal conversation that regular couples are having, right? Cassie and Colton’s situation on The Bachelor was very unique. It’s understandable that with so much of their reputations and careers relying on public perception of them as a couple, that they would consider a future in front of the cameras.
However, many critics of the couple have already accused Cassie, specifically, of being a media hog. Her “wishy-washy” treatment of Colton on The Bachelor led some viewers to believe that she was simply volleying to get airtime as the new Bachelorette or making a play to gain fans online. Talking so candidly about the couple’s future on camera would certainly lend itself to that narrative.
What do you think of this talk of their future, Bachelor Nation? Would you actually watch a show featuring Colton and Cassie? Or have you already left them behind as we prepare for a new season of The Bachelorette?
