Can you spare a prayer? The Bachelor alums Arie and Lauren Luyendyk are asking for your “positive vibes” as they face a trial in their pregnancy.

Attention fans of The Bachelor: countdown to Baby Luyendyk has officially begun! Lauren and Arie Luyendyk are a mere five weeks away from welcoming their sweet little girl into the world. Unfortunately, as the excitement builds, so do the nerves. Now, the couple is asking for support as they face a trying end to their journey.

In a recent Instagram story, Lauren Burnham Luyendyk revealed that baby girl has been breech for ten weeks and remains in the awkward position. She posted a photo of a baby with its feet over its head, captioned, “This is what I imagine [Baby Luyendyk] is doing.” She went on to ask fans for positive vibes and prayers to get the baby flipped into the correct position for birth.

In case you’re unfamiliar with baby lingo, “breech position” means that the baby’s feet or booty are closer to the birth canal than its head. While babies are born all the time after having spent their womb days in breech position, it does make things more difficult for the mother and newborn. Labor can be more trying, baby’s head can get stuck and even more complications can arise as a result of the position.

It sounds like this couple from The Bachelor doesn’t need to be on red alert, but it is moving that they reached out to fans for their thoughts and prayers. And you know what? They’ve got ‘em! We’re all hoping for a smooth delivery with no complications for either Lauren or Baby Luyendyk.

dark. Next. Alums from The Bachelor are getting a new show! All you NEED to know
