With The Bachelor behind her, Tayshia Adams is opening up about what was going through her head as she filmed the series.

Tayshia Adams has definitely seen your Tweets about her. In a very candid interview with Vulture, she acknowledged that Bachelor Nation had a great sense of humor regarding her whirlwind season on the show. Now that the drama is long behind her, she’s opening up about her past and future with The Bachelor, her reaction to that fateful breakup and even what life would have been like if she was chosen as the Bachelorette. Here’s everything we learned!

After current Bachelorette Hannah Brown came out a few weeks ago to talk about how the show had misrepresented her commitment level to Colton, Tayshia is tackling series editing. Her stance is certainly a bit different than Hannah’s, as she doesn’t really think there is too much that The Bachelor can do to really misrepresent a person.

"To be honest, you can’t really make someone look worse than they are or better than they are. I was represented as I am every single day."

Sounds like her experience was pretty good overall, but does that mean we can expect to see Tayshia Adams on Bachelor in Paradise? Summer is fast approaching, which could mean we’ll see a cast list going out soon.

"I have mixed feelings about that. I’m looking forward to what other opportunities come around, whether with Paradise or anything else."

No matter what happens going forward, Tayshia seems to be in a pretty good place. This isn’t super surprising. During her dramatic breakup with Colton on The Bachelor, many fans noted that she seemed really good at keeping her cool. It was an interesting move to pull Colton into a private room, even if their mics did stay on the whole time.

"Being broken up with in front of all of these cameras wasn’t the most ideal situation. I wanted to normalize it as much as I could."

So how does Tayshia feel about the woman Colton left her for? Again, it seems like she’s taking a very healthy approach. While many fans will be quick to voice their disagreement with her on the matter, she stands by her decision to tell Colton about her (then) feelings on Cassie Randolph, but has decided to live and let live when it comes to Cassie today.

"They look very, very happy. It’s not my place to judge if they’re genuinely happy. As far as the comment I made in Denver, that was the deal at the time and I stand by it."

She went on to comment, “I wasn’t going to lie to his face if he asked me something.”

Tayshia Adams has certainly divided the Bachelor fanbase. She had more than a few followers who really would have loved to see her become the Bachelorette following all that drama. How does she feel now that the casting decision has already been made?

"As for me, I think everything happens for a reason. I pray about everything that happens in my life, especially big decisions, and if it was meant to be, it would’ve happened."

Time heals all wounds, so hopefully Tayshia really is moving on and moving up like she appears to be. Every season of The Bachelor sees some drama go down, but usually it doesn’t take too long for fans to forget the hatred and move on, too. Our fingers are crossed that we’ll be seeing Tayshia hit the beaches of Paradise this summer!
