While we all love to see our favorite Bachelor stars finding love within Bachelor Nation, it’s really not uncommon for them to start up post-show relationships with major celebrities. Take Wells Adams, for instance, who famously dates Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland. These days, the next Bachelorette alum to dabble in dating a celebrity is Derek Peth.

Remember Derek? He first appeared on JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette, but he really made a name for himself during his stint on Bachelor in Paradise, where he entered into an engagement with contestant Taylor Nolan. Unfortunately, their relationship didn’t last and now Derek is single and ready to mingle.

Thanks to his bro Wells Adams (mentioned above), Derek is getting the hook up when it comes to famous faces. Wells recently set him up on a blind date with star of The Hills Stephanie Pratt.

So how did it go? Fans were eager to find out. Apparently, the outing got off to a pretty rocky start, but things ended on a very positive note.

Stephanie was a whopping hour and 15 minutes late for the date. Yikes! She claimed that daylight savings time was what threw her off (relatable af), but Derek pointed out that her phone should have automatically changed times to keep her informed. Ultimately, Stephanie barely made it in time to order from the kitchen.

Despite the bad beginning, these two actually really hit it off. Derek even admitted that they had a little makeout sesh. On Wells’ podcast, he commented that “there was not an empty dull moment.” He’s openly ready for another date and so is Bachelor Nation. Bring. It. On.

What did Stephanie think though? She had a slightly different take than Derek on how things went. She commented that he was a great guy, but maybe not her perfect type. “He’s pretty. It’s weird.” Ultimately, The Hills star decided that she definitely needs to go out with Derek Peth again.
