What goes down when the cameras finally leave the Bachelor alone? Former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky is breaking down Fantasy Suites.
Fantasy Suites are always a big deal and for the Bachelor Colton Underwood they’re truly a defining life moment. Well in case you, like us, have wondered exactly how far these contestants go when the cameras are turned off, former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky is here to enlighten you. She’s opening up about exactly what went down during her own Fantasy Suites.
Ali knew what she wanted so she got smart: in an exclusive talk with Life & Style, she revealed that she actually had a producer call her room so that she could get out of physical intimacy with contestant Chris Lambton. No spending the night, no sleeping together.
“I know a lot of past Bachelors and Bachelorettes sleep with every single person. All three,” she commented. “I did not. I only did with one, but I know that there are people who do.”
We’re totally here for that. Talk about a classy way to keep up her obligations with The Bachelor series, but still stay true to the guy she already knew she wanted to see at the end of things.
Now that we know there are some really clever ways to get out of sleeping together during the Fantasy Suite (other than just outright rejecting someone), we have to wonder if Colton employed any tricks during his own episode. Presumably, if he’s really saving himself for the most perfect person and time, then he wouldn’t be the kind of Bachelor who just sleeps with all three contestants.
Much like Ali, Colton came into Fantasy Suites with his mind made up. We already heard him say last night that he wants it to be Cassie at the end of everything. With that in mind, how did he navigate those tricky waters?
After her Fantasy Suite with Colton, contestant Tayshia commented that they didn’t have the “physical intimacy she wanted.” While her comments made it sound like they decided to take things slow because of Colton’s apprehensions, it would still be interesting to learn whether Colton was sure about not sleeping with her before their overnight and if he consciously used any of those old school Bachelor tricks to get out of the “I don’t want to be with you” conversation.
How do you think things played out for Colton behind the scenes? Furthermore, we’re still waiting on Hannah G’s date. How will that go down after so much drama on Colton’s date with Cassie??
