Wells Adams takes Sarah Hyland on The Bachelor-style dates

Modern Family star Sarah Hyland is crazy about her boyfriend Wells Adams. No wonder: he’s been taking her on The Bachelor-style dates!

Wells Adams was on The Bachelorette what feels like ages ago now (he appeared on JoJo Fletcher’s season) and yet we just can’t forget him. These days, he’s everyone’s favorite bartender on Bachelor in Paradise and still makes waves in the news for his high-profile romance with successful Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland. Sarah was recently on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she gushed about their relationship and revealed that Wells’ has taken inspiration from his Bachelor-roots when they go out on dates.

Sarah specifically describes one of their first dates after they formalized their relationship, when Wells took her on a helicopter ride to Catalina Island where the two then went zip-lining. That definitely rings a bell for fans of The Bachelor. Countless jokes have been made about how you can’t really have a season of the show without at least one or two helicopter rides. And the zip-lining is just a perfectly fitting bonus!

This spectacular date was part of Sarah’s 27th birthday celebration. Way to set the bar high, man.

Sarah went on to say that her mom gives Wells Adams the full stamp of parental approval partly because of his Bachelor roots. Sarah commented, “My mom when we started dating was like, ‘I’m very happy about this. I already approve. I haven’t met him, but I already approve.’”

Us, too, Mama! It’s always been so easy to love Wells. He was down to Earth, charming and continually gives the best advice on Paradise. We’ve been rooting for him through a lot and it’s great to see him finally settling down with a superstar like Sarah.

If Wells is taking Sarah on Bachelor-themed dates now, does that mean we could expect a Bachelor-themed proposal some time in the future? We’re keeping our fingers crossed for plenty of those trademark red roses!
