With Colton down to his final four, let’s take a closer look at each of his remaining ladies. Here we break down Caelynn Miller-Keyes’ chances of winning.
Caelynn Miller-Keyes came to The Bachelor ready to play when she and Colton shared a kiss on night one. Since then, she’s been involved in at least two feuds, but that doesn’t seem to get in the way of her connection with the Bach.
Is this pageant queen poised to take home the crown? What are her chances of winning it all? Let’s check out Caelynn’s pros and cons list!
Pros
- She’s had two one-on-one dates. Any time a contestant scoops up two one-on-ones it’s a good sign for her connection with the Bachelor. While Caelynn’s second exclusive date with Colton may have actually been a ploy by producers to make him confront the Tayshia/Caelynn feud, the fact of the matter is that she’s still enjoyed more time with the Bach than half of the other girls in the Final Four.
- Colton kept her around after two major feuds. Caelynn has had not one, but three contestants throw her motives into question. Hannah B. had negative things to say about their time in a pageant together and both Kirpa and Tayshia have said they thought she was only on the show to become the Bachelorette. Colton could have scrapped Caelynn on both occasions, but instead something drove him to keep her around.
- She’s shown that she is emotionally vulnerable. Caelynn Miller-Keyes’ Me Too moment was one of the most significant scenes in show history. Emotional vulnerability is a great way to connect with the Bachelor, so this probably gives her an edge.
- Colton seems to trust her judgement. Caelynn saw fit to intervene when it seemed like her friend Cassie’s role on the show may be coming to an end. Instead of getting mad at her for overstepping her bounds, Colton seemed ready to follow Caelynn’s lead.
Cons
- Tayshia might be on the warpath. Last week’s feud was explosive and, whatever side you’re on, you have to admit that all of the girls involved will continue to be punished for their roles in the fight over the course of the show’s final weeks. They might be separated by their hometowns, but there is a chance that Tayshia will once again want to talk about Caelynn Miller-Keyes with Colton next week.
- Her motives have been thrown into question. On the note of the Tayshia/Caelynn feud, it’s worth pointing out that this contestant *might not* be on The Bachelor for the right reasons. Tayshia’s argument was built on assumptions rather than solid evidence, but that doesn’t mean that Caelynn has an ironclad foundation in the house.
Alright, Bachelor Nation: what do you think? Is Caelynn Miller-Keyes this season’s winner? This poised pageant queen has got a shot!
