We’ve been getting hyped over The Bachelor Colton’s fence-jumping exit for ages now. But did you know he isn’t the only star who tried to walk away?

Every season of The Bachelor has its high and for Colton Underwood, his fence-jumping scene has been the talk of the town for weeks now. Hopefully you all know a bit of the story, even though at the time of writing this article the footage has yet to air: Colton ran off to escape cameras in a pseudo-attempt to quit The Bachelor entirely.

According to longtime show host Chris Harrison, though, Underwood isn’t the first Bach to think about leaving before the final rose is handed out.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Harrison revealed that this sort of breaking moment is actually a very common occurrence. Apparently there have been several stars who have considered walking off The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. Colton simply had an edge in actually getting away, as his skills as a former football pro allowed him to scale a fence.

While Harrison didn’t name too many names, he did say that former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay immediately came to mind when Colton made the jump. Apparently she was very headstrong and always clear about when she felt she was being pushed too far. Harrison describes his role as part host, part psychologist, someone tasked with figuring out the series lead before they actually do quit The Bachelor.

While this news is certainly interesting, it really doesn’t surprise us to hear that Colton is far from being the only Bach to walk away. It makes sense, right?

Year after year, we see these leading men and women testing their personal boundaries and dealing with drama from all corners. Eventually, some will break. It would probably actually be more of a novel idea to suggest that no one had ever felt that The Bachelor was too extreme.

So will we see Colton’s fence jump soon? We’re crossing our fingers! Still, this series is known for stringing out the drama, so we wouldn’t hold our breath for it to happen in tonight’s opening scenes or anything.
